With the worlds largest OEM automotive show just finishing up we have seen a lot of hype coming from the well known automotive manufacturer Ford. They continues to be focusing first of all on its trucks and crossovers. We have already seen previews of the items it’s available for that Edge and Explorer. The Blue Oblong car maker is giving us an idea of the slew of seven personalized F-150 pick-ups it’s planning for that Las Vegas tuner expo.

Towards the top of their email list is really brand new 2016 ford F150 that is using the EcoSport engine and a six-speed manual transmission. The Wheel Company ESR wheels has provided a complete work over and donated a set of ESR sr02 wheels the company has also spent a lot of time flashing the computer of the car and installing a turbo to generate some positive boost pressure.

Another Company spent time really styling the vehicle after the raptors livery setup and did a completely custom paint job! End of Story almost every vehicle at this automotive show had its own level of unique styling! This new vehicle is not to wrecked with and is going to be paving the way for modern manual trucks.

Land Rover Defender Sells for over half million at Auction?

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in 4X4's, Exotic Vehicles, Landrover Club, LR2 / LR3 Rovers, Performance / Wheeling

Range Rovers, Landrovers all seem to be sky rocketing in price in the last couple years but over half a million dollars pricey? This might seem a little bold even to the collector in our oppinion it appears just like a lot – which is – particularly when the automobile under consideration is really stripped out and low in features

That’s 17 occasions exactly what a entry level model Defender cost or what did it cost new within the United kingdom, or three occasions what it really charges for that new Range-Rover Autobiography model here in america. It is also the greatest cost ever taken care of a Land-Rover, based on both manufacturer and also the auction records at Sports Vehicle Market. The prior high-water mark was recorded by this past year by Silverstone Auctions, which offered a restored 1970 Range Rover in the Salon Privé working in london for £132,250 ($217k at that time or under $200k today).

Fortunately it’s all regulated seeing a great place – or two great places, really. The auction tips both Worldwide Federation of Red-colored Mix and Red-colored Crescent Communities and also the Born Free Foundation. The previous has reserved its area for nothing short of disaster and evacuation mission’s in Nepal, as the latter really concentratee towards wildlife preservation in Africa.

Land Rover first hit the scene in 1948 using the 1 series model, that was then the Series 2 and (you suspected it) Series 3. Initially known as the 90 and something Ten (according its approximate wheelbase measures in inches), your opponent showed up in 1983 and has been around production since. It’ll finish its production run the following month, however, when preparing for the appearance of an exciting-new model.

Changing Racing Wheels On your Car

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in 4X4's, Discovery, Landrover Club, LR2 / LR3 Rovers, Performance / Wheeling, Range Rover

Do you have a problem changing your alloy esr racing wheels? The trick is so simple. You can always change your wheels within a very short time and continue with the race. Here is how.
Park the car safely. This is to make sure that you do not block other cars that are still in the race. This also avoids any accidents that may occur. The vehicle should also be on a level ground for balance. The hazard lights are also important.
Get the jack and the spare wheel. Put the jack near the wheel that you want to replace and make sure it holds firmly onto the ground then remove the wheel.
Fix the spare wheel and fasten the nuts in place using your hands. Use the spanner when they can rotate no more. Tighten the remaining bit as tight as you can. Remove the jack and put it back and your alloy racing wheel will be good to go again.

BC Racing Suspension for Landrovers

We often get asked about additional methods of enhancing the performance of your racing bcracing coilovers, well when you ask Canada, we deliver! There are of course a variety of ways to maximize what you’re getting out of your bc racing coilovers and dependant on who you ask the answer will invariably differ, so here’s a couple of our personal favourites:
Rolled fenders – This may not be the most obvious however it addresses the all too common issue of wheel rub. Of course the built in adjustability on some bc coilovers will address this issue but why should you have to compromise on an otherwise perfect setup?
Camber Kits – The inclusion of a camber kit will correct the alignment of the wheel, leading to efficient, even tyre wear, an increased level of grip and subsequently better handling.
There’s so many small details and intricacies involved in achieving that all important ‘perfect setup’ that to say the above is all there is to it, would be doing our range of bc racing suspension a great disservice. If you do have any questions though, our qualified staff are always on hand to ensure your ride is always at its best.
